Eurostep’s server solution Share-A-space® and consulting services let our customers realize secure collaboration and engineering business intelligence.
Share-A-space® and Eurostep’s services let our customers realize secure collaboration. Existing software and processes can be kept and the collaboration solution is rapidly deployed. Share-A-space® provides consolidation of data from different authoring environments. It manages any PLM data across a product’s life cycle through its rich information model. Data in Share-A-space® can be in standard formats but also proprietary such as native CAD data.

Share-A-space® is Eurostep's server solution for PLM Collaboration. Eurostep has packaged Share-A-space targeting some solution areas where Share-A-space is the premier software delivering unique business value to users. The five collaboration hubs all build on Share-A-space and its foundation of Microsoft technology.
- The PLM/MDM Hub is the pragmatic and easy way to Master Data Management for PLM data. It is game changing in that it acknowledges existing SW applications as well as process and allows for these to remain. Much less effort has to be spent on integration and much time in implementation of PLM/MDM is saved. It delivers consolidation of PLM Master Data in a federated environment – the typical PLM situation at any enterprise. Focus is on consolidation and synchronization across the enterprise. The solution is based on STEP and PLCS covering the product’s whole life cycle.
- The Systems Engineering Collaboration Hub is based on standards such as PLCS and AP233 in the ISO 10303 family of standards. With the Systems Engineering (SE) Collaboration Hub a distributed SE team can use a variety of best of breed tools whilst having access to all relevant product information across the product's lifecycle.
- The Engineering Change Management Collaboration Hub is based on STEP and PLCS, global standards addressing exchange and sharing of product data. Key concepts are built into our solution allowing a network of software applications and organisations to share engineering change data.
- The Product Support Collaboration Hub is based on PLCS, a standard that targets the Product Life Cycle, configuration on individual products and feedback from usage to earlier phases such as design and systems engineering.
- The BIM Collaboration Hub is based on the ideal combination of IFC and PLCS. IFC data from any SW application can be shared through the Hub where important life cycle information such as change management, versions and maintenance data is managed. With this the BIM Collaboration Hub covers the life cycle of buildings enabling collaboration over time.
The Toolboxes and SDKs provided by Eurostep significantly reduce the time taken to develop and deploy high quality PLCS and IFC implementations such as data importers and exporters.
